Curtesy of Slashdot, this article gives an interesting, though slightly over-dramatised description of flash cookiesm otherwise-known-as Local Shared Objects (LSO’s).
I remember a few years ago running into a problem where I couldn’t seem to delete the authentication certificate that flash system was using (presumably in a cookie). That was when i first realised flash doesn’t use the standard browser cookie system.
Information worth knowning, both from a security perspective and web dev.
